Adult Exercise Area/Gym Use Procedures

Savage School District
Use of school facilities for school purposes has precedence over all other uses
Use Procedures
School district exercise facilities will be available for public use from 3:45 pm-9:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 8:00-9:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday except in the event that the facilities are being used for school district activities during these times. Use must have completed and signed a Savage School District Facility Use Agreement prior to use of the facilities.
Availability of the facilities should be coordinated through the Savage School Activities Director. Supervisors of groups will sign in at the adult exercise room for each use.
SUPERVISION AND USE REQUIREMENTS
  • The use of related facilities within the gym area is not allowed and these areas are: the locker room, laundry room, equipment storage, etc.
  • Adequate supervision is required at all times. All children and students must be under close adult supervision at all times in order to use the facility. There should be at least one adult supervisor for every 12 child participants. Use of the weight room by single individuals is prohibited. Any persons using the weight room must be closely supervised by an adult. The supervisor(s) will be responsible for the actions of the participants in his/her activity.
  • Supervisor(s) and group are responsible for sweeping the floor and keeping use areas free of litter.
  • Failure to abide by these stipulations and requirements, or any irresponsible or negligent actions, may result in loss of rights to use the facilities.
  • Inform school district office if Access code is lost or stolen.
You will need to turn your door key and building use form into Diana Miller to get an access code to the outside doors. She will then give you the new weight room code.
